Dalewood Golf Club

The areas' hidden .

Dalewood Golf Club, upon its inception, was the only facility of its kind in the area.  The golf course was a first of its kind in the area, having fairways, tees and greens all seeded with Crepping Bentgrass.  The late Hugh Kirkpatrick, was given the task of building and growing-in this hidden gem.  The clubhouse was constructed to compliment the natural beauty of the location as well as to allow its members to enjoy the facilities and spectacular views by surounding the building with floor to ceiling windows.

Since the opening on July 2nd, 1974, the club has undergone a number of improvements.  We now boast a fully renovated clubhouse with panoramic views of the course in keeping with the original building, from all of its venues including the Great Hall, the Private Dining Rom, and Mulligans Bar, as well as the outdoor patio.

The golf course, designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Robbie Robinson,  opened as a par 71, championship style course with many natural and man-made hazards, built in a very picturesque setting.  Crossing Gages Creek seven times, makes this course a true test of golf.  Robinson designed, redesigned, or expanded more than 100 courses worldwide.  The course has matured nicely since its opening with little change to the original design, but upgrades such as improved irrigation, a bunker renovation, and increased cartpaths, have made it a much sought after course to play by members and non-members alike.
